#1 Post by Jon Chelesnik » Wed Feb 14, 2024 11:06 am

A radio station cluster has an opening for a salaried play-by-play broadcaster in small market.

Don't want to do news or a daily air shift? Don't worry. Those things aren't part of this position.

The successful candidate will broadcast high school football, boys and girls basketball, volleyball, boys and girls soccer, baseball, softball and possibly other sports.

The successful candidate will establish working relationships with coaches, athletic/activities directors, players, students, staff and school district administrators. You will also be required to work closely with sales and production teams in multiple radio stations. You must also be able to serve as your own on-site engineer.

The complete position description, the name of the employer and contact information has already been emailed to STAA members.
