Re: NAHL Team - Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations
We are now accepting applications for this position from non-STAA members.
This is a full-time position that will be relied upon to be the public face of the organization. Our chosen candidate must be professional in their demeanor, passionate about hockey and an accomplished storyteller.
This candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with local and regional media, positive brand image and managing communication outlets, with the primary goal of growing the team’s coverage in the region.
In addition, they will be asked to assist with sales and marketing acquisition in the local community.
Compensation includes base salary plus commissions.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Broadcasting all regular season games and playoff games and hosting a weekly coaches show.
* Operation of team website and social media platforms. This includes graphics, press releases, in-game updates and video content.
* Maintain and develop relationships between the organization and local media outlets.
* Assist in content creation for enhancement of team branding and marketing in the community.
* Serve as crucial liaison between front office and coaching staff/locker room.
* Other responsibilities as assigned.
Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, December 14th.
Note: This position description is similar to one published earlier this year by another NAHL franchise. This opening, though, is not with that team.

Re: NAHL Team - Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations
This position has been filled.
It was first offered to, and accepted by, an STAA member. When that person reversed their commitment, we solicited applications from outside Team STAA because the team needed additional candidates.
A non-STAA member then accepted the job.
We'll wait for either the team or the broadcaster to make the announcement before publishing the name here.
