The Carolina Mudcats are accepting applications for a Broadcasting and Media Relations intern. The Mudcats are the Advanced-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.

The intern will assist the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations and be heavily involved in day-to-day tasks such as managing the team website, handling social media accounts, production of daily media stat packs, executing interviews, cutting audio highlights, writing game recaps and broadcasting games. On air, the successful candidate would have an opportunity for play-by-play during Mudcats home games, with the possibility of travel with the team and broadcast games on the road.

The intern will be responsible for pregame and postgame coverage during home games as well. Aside from working in the media department, the intern would be expected to assist in stadium operations, community relations, and any other tasks as needed.

Successful candidate needs experience in graphic design, social media and audio/video production. On-air experience is preferred. This is an unpaid internship with a flexible start date.
