CIH Media is hiring broadcasters for the 2024-2025 LA Kings High School Hockey League season.

**Must be able to work as a local in the Greater Los Angeles Area and/or Santa Barbara, Simi Valley and Bakersfield**

**Must be able to commit to weekends September 2024 through March 2025**

* Game times vary from starting as early as 11am to as late as 9pm, and are held on Friday, Saturday, and the occasional Sunday. Successful candidates may be asked to work more than one game in a single day.

* Games are held at any of six venues: Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, The Cube in Santa Clarita, LA Kings Iceland at Pickwick Gardens in Burbank, LA Kings Iceland at Paramount in Paramount, LA Kings Iceoplex Ice Arena in Simi Valley, Ice in Paradise in Santa Barbara and Valley Children’s Ice Center in Bakersfield.

* Successful candidates could broadcast one or more games throughout the league regular season schedule, not including playoffs.
* Compensation is $55 per game, plus mileage depending on travel distance.
* Games will be streamed live on CIH Media.
* Multiple positions are available, including play-by-play and camera operator/technical director.
* Video and audio production knowledge are recommended; training will be provided.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to set up and break down broadcast equipment.
* Must be able to provide own transportation.
* We are looking to expand our base of contractors in the area and working this season could lead to further opportunities for future event assignments in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
