KY3/KSPR in Springfield, MO is accepting applications for a Sports Director.
The station covers 31 counties in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
You would lead a four-person sports department with sports at 6/9/10pm, a weekly half-hour local high school sports show called the Ozone during the school year and a popular Ozarksportszone.com website. We are looking for an aggressive sports director who is passionate about covering highly local and personalized sports stories. We also cover regional pro teams like the Kansas City Chiefs (and yes – the big game too!) and college teams like Missouri State and Drury. We need someone highly organized who will go out every day to shoot and do stories.
This is not an entry level position.
