The Flint Firebirds (OHL) have an immediate opening for a Director of Broadcasting & Communications.

The person hired will be responsible for the overall direction and execution of all media relations for the team and serve as the team's play-by-play broadcaster. The ideal candidate will have experience in broadcasting, social media, media & public relations, writing, website management, and more.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
* 2+ years of experience in broadcasting and communications.
* Play-by-Play broadcasting experience.
* Broadcast and work all 68 games, home and away, plus any additional exhibition playoff games.
* Knowledge of radio broadcast setup via a Comrex unit.
* Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, social media, and copywriting
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining tight deadlines.
