The Rockford IceHogs (AHL) are accepting applications for an unexpected in-season opening for a Manager, Hockey Communications & Broadcast.

In addition to being the play-by-play voice of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the Rockford IceHog’s media strategy as set by the Marketing, Brand & Content department in collaboration with the Chicago Blackhawks Communications team.

This role has primary responsibility for generating positive publicity for the Rockford IceHogs and Chicago Blackhawks – including traditional hockey media and unique story ideas surrounding the team, players, and business operations. This role serves as the day-to-day media relations contact between the team and local/national media.
