Today I am grateful for alternative ways of doing things. I am now eligible to obtain my Utah teaching certificate through an alternative route. Perhaps someday I will be able to continue my passion for sports broadcasting.

As one of the originals of this bulletin board, I am grateful for a service like this that has allowed me to test the waters of sports broadcasting in a variety of opportunities. I thank Jon for giving us talking heads a platform to talk shop and set0up likewise in locales none of us even expected.

Today is a good day to be grateful for the internet.
Things are not as easy all the time to find stats and information about players and personnel as they are right now with the speed of the Internet. So I am grateful for the option to use the Internet to find information to make our broadcast more effective.

I am grateful for the law today. It helps keep us safe and it helps us weed out those who do not wish to conform to society's regulations.

This has been move a challenge that I thought it would be.
It has been nearly two weeks and I have not posted a single thing so today I am grateful for forgiveness. You have to know your limitations and what you can handle at any given time.
Still I do want to finish this blog/post.

Today is a great day to be happy about change. I comes in many forms and we all experience it so why not embrace it and move forward in life.

Today I am grateful for subs they fill in when you can't be there. I once had a student fill in on an important broadcasts. I was worried because the student hadn't shown much interest or desire or talent in calling live games. He loved the talk show part but not the play by play. Or at least that is what I thought. When I listened to the game I found him to be both passionate and genuine in his call of the game. He impressed me so much that I started letting him do some of the games I had reserved for myself.

Today I am grateful for the extra hour of sleep we get in the fall, but not in the spring.
We should get rid of daylight savings time.

Today it is nice to be appreciated for the talent I do have and thus I appreciate and am grateful for those who can see and use talent.

Today the sky was a bright orange with yellow hints of light, and the warmth crept over the slopes of the Quirriah Mountains. It was spectacular. I am grateful for breathtaking scenes.
