Fort Myers Miracle No. 2

The Fort Myers Miracle (Class-A Advanced Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins) are looking for a Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant.

Start date: April 1 (flexible for the right candidate)
End date: September 6 (or after the final Miracle playoff game)
Compensation: $8.56/hr

Job responsibilities include:

* Compiling the daily stat pack for coaches and media.
* Making copies of rosters, games notes, and lineups.
* Three innings of play-by-play and six innings of color commentary for all 70 Miracle home games and select road games.
* Writing post-game recaps for all 70 home games and occasionally writing press releases.
* Assisting with social media during home games.
* Making sales calls when the team is on the road.
* Other duties as assigned by Miracle Front Office staff.

Desired requirements:

* Prior baseball broadcasting and media relations experience.
* Desire to pursue a career in the baseball broadcasting or media relations industry.
* Deep baseball knowledge.
* Good writer and communicator.
* Passionate, hard-working, professional, and loyal team player.
