The Bowling Green Hot Rods are looking for a candidate to fill the intern role of Broadcast & Media Relations Assistant.

The successful candidate will report to the Broadcast and Media Relations Manager while assisting with the daily operations of the Med​ia Department and the broadcast of the game.


* Assist in completing and distributing media materials for all home games
* Host pre-game show
* Broadcast three innings of play-by-play and six innings of color commentary for every home game plus the Midwest League All-Star Game
* Potential to fill-in for select road contests
* Occasionally assist with special events at the ballpark when team is on the road
* Write and disseminate game recaps at home
* Deliver box scores post-game
* Assist with tarp pulls or other game prep as needed
* Other duties as assigned


• Excellent communication & organization skills
• Ability to work all Hot Rods home games; includes ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
• Experience with Adobe InDesign & Microsoft Office Suite preferred but not required
• Previous experience in broadcasting and public relations is preferred, but not required
