The Bismarck Larks of the Northwood League are offering an opportunity for current college level students looking to gain real world broadcasting experience to position themselves for a career in the sports and broadcasting industries upon graduation.

Start Date: May 13, 2019
End Date: August 16, 2019

Every Bismarck Larks game will be broadcasted live (audio and video) over the Internet on, through an upgraded hi-definition and extensive 4-camera video production setup. The team will have 36 home games and 36 away games during the regular season, beginning late May thru mid-August.

Each broadcaster will be responsible for any pre-game assignments including game/player research, statistics, and interviews. Broadcasters will also be responsible for updating the official scoring roster, including taking headshots of new players and uploading them to the website. Broadcasters also have an in stadium presence as they are responsible for updating the official standing and line up board in the ballpark.

Academic Qualifications:

Applicant should be studying a subject in a relevant field. This may include but is not limited to Journalism, Broadcasting, Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Human Resources.
