The Great Lakes Loons are accepting applications for a Broadcast & Communications Intern.
Successful candidate will work closely with the Manager of Programming & Play-by-play to enhance the quality, workflow, and productivity of the communications, media relations, and radio broadcasts for the Great Lakes Loons and ESPN 100.9-FM.
Organizational Summary
The Great Lakes Loons are a High-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Founded in 2007, the club is a member of the 12-team Major League Baseball’s High-A Central League and won its first championship in 2016.
ESPN 100.9-FM is an all-sports talk radio format station owned and operated by the Great Lakes Loons with its studio located in the club level at Dow Diamond. The station serves as the radio home for all Great Lakes Loons broadcasts, features ESPN radio sports talk shows, and regional sports programming including Michigan State University football and basketball.
