The Gary SouthShore RailCats of the American Association of Professional Baseball are hiring a Broadcaster & Media Relations Manager for the 2022 season.

Job Description

The Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations will oversee all aspects of daily media operation, including but not limited to:

* Preparing daily game notes and stat packs for media, coaches, and broadcasters; writing game recaps.
* Updating RailCats official website and social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
* Writing press releases and e-newsletters to highlight the team and upcoming homestands and promote the RailCats brand throughout Northwest Indiana
* Fulfilling media requests
* Announcing play-by-play of all 100 RailCats home and away games
* Interviewing players, coaches and staff members for pre-game show, post-game show
* Create weekly video content for RailCats social media accounts
* Assist in baseball operations and other areas as needed

Requirements
* Previous broadcast experience in baseball
* Must be available from April through early September
* Broadcast audio and video production skills.
* Experienced in Adobe Creative suite
* Love and understanding of baseball
* Relocation to NWI or Southeast Chicagoland April-September and ability to work office hours a must.
* Ultimate team player
