The NIU Hockey Broadcast Network is looking for a Hockey minded broadcaster looking to gain experience broadcasting college hockey

The NIU Hockey Broadcast Network was founded in 2012 by two college students from the Illinois Media School. Since its creation the network has broadcasted over 200 games for NIU as well as the ACHA Men's DIII National Championships.

Requirements:

* Must have knowledge of the game of hockey including rules and verbiage to correlate the game on the ice to the viewers at home.
* Knowledge of setting up radio equipment is not required but will train to show how to set up the game day operations
* Need to be able to work all 30 games both home and away including possible playoff appearances
* Illinois residents preferred
