KSBY-TV, the local news leader on California’s beautiful Central Coast seeks a Weekend Sports Anchor/Sports Reporter.

Requirements:

We are looking for a person who is a truly passionate about local, high school and collegiate sports. This is not a 9-5 job so we need someone who is flexible when it comes to scheduling and willing and eager to get the stories whenever they arise.

Sports photography skills are an absolute must. Winning candidate will be able to demonstrate creativity in their sportscasts, storytelling, anchoring, and stand-ups. Knowledge of California’s Central Coast is a plus.

Experience:

Candidates must have at least one year of on-air experience in a local TV market. Experience in providing digital content for a news station is a plus. A four-year college degree from an accredited university or college is preferred and you must have proven sports videography skills.
