ABC47 WMDT in Salisbury. MD is accepting applications for an experienced on-air sports anchor/reporter to lead their sports department.

Must have the ability to report from the field as well as on-air in the studio.

Knowledge of Adobe and Panasonic preferred, but will train the right individual.

This is a full-time senior position in the news department. It will involve more than reporting; it will be the station’s thought-leader for sports coverage and strategy.

We're told by a station exec that Brandon Bossert (Wilmington University) is the new Sports Director. He joined the station in 2017 then was added to the sports staff in 2019.

Former Sports Director Travon Miles (Salisbury U) is still listed on the website in that position. He joined the 47 ABC team as a studio technician in 2013 and moved up to the sports team the next year.
