WSAW TV in Wausau, WI is accepting applications for a News/Sports MMJ.
The ideal candidate will possess versatility, speed and accuracy when it comes to gathering facts, shooting video and writing.
This person should expect to tell news and sports stories each week. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing stories ahead of time, writing, reporting and editing stories of interest, for all platforms.
This position has the opportunity to shoot Friday night football, high school athletics, cover Packer football games and fill-in as a sports anchor. The breakdown of news vs. sports reporting days is dependent on the time of the year, but the person should be expected to report for news at least 1-2 days a week.
