WRDW-WAGT in Augusta, GA has an opening for a sports anchor/MMJ.

We cover local sports, some SEC football, Augusta's minor league baseball, community sports teams and hobbies and, of course, the Masters Golf Tournament.

Whether it's the internationally known Masters Tournament, its nearby vibrant horse community, booming Cyber Industry, or its outdoor recreation on area lakes and trails, Augusta's river region is a area that is on the move. Its award-winning news team has been recognized nationally for its coverage of breaking news and investigative journalism, and has been recognized by the Georgia Associated Press with the "Pacemaker Award" as a top-performing news team for the past 6 consecutive years.

Please indicate in your cover letter you learned of this opportunity through Sportscasters Talent Agency of America.

The 12News sports director is Kevin Faigle (Syracuse). He's held the position for 11 years.

The sports anchor/reporter position is open because STAA member Jessica Eley is moving to a station in her hometown of Kansas City.

Congratulations to Jessica!
