K-101 in Woodward, OK has two openings for people to broadcast news and call high school sports play-by-play.

Our past play-by-play announcers have had the opportunity to call state championship games from AT&T Stadium in Dallas! We use top-of-the-line equipment for our broadcasts. No old fashioned telephone audio here!

Duties include:

Hourly news and sportscasts on two stations, play-by-play high school football and basketball, on location reporting of breaking news, keeping up on local events, producing commercials for local clients, hosting live remotes, and creating digital content.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year full or part-time on-air experience, or college degree in mass communication/ broadcasting/journalism. Familiarity with NexGen and Adobe Audition, along with the ability to use social media to connect with listeners on a personal level, is helpful.
