ESPN Central Texas has an opening for a part-time board operator/co-host. Could be full-time for the right person.
Candidates already residing in the Waco/Temple area are preferred but will consider others.
Regular responsibilities:
• Operates control board for studios, remote programming, and game broadcasts.
• Regulates program timing, operates syndicated programming, and plays commercials.
• Executes playlists for Wide Orbit and simulcast programming.
• Operates studio equipment and notifies Engineering of technical malfunctions affecting quality of the broadcast.
• Handles emergency inserts (e.g. news updates, breaking stories, etc.).
• Contribute opinions, sports topics and news to the studio team and participate in talk shows.
• Update and revise website and social media content in the best interest of the station as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software, Wide Orbit or similar automation system.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
