College Basketball Play-by-Play, Avis, PA -- POSITIONS FILLED

The Bear Country Sports Network in Avis, PA is looking for a play-by-play broadcaster to call three upcoming Lock Haven University (NCAA DII) basketball doubleheaders:

* Wednesday, February 9: Lock Haven vs Mansfield (5:30 PM women’s game, 7:30 PM men’s game)

* Saturday, February 12: Lock Haven vs Shippensburg (1:00 PM women’s game, 3:00 PM men’s game)

* Saturday, February 19: Lock Haven vs West Chester (1:00 PM women’s game, 3:00 PM men’s game)

The games will be broadcast on radio (WQBR, 99.9 FM) with the audio simulcast on the PSAC Digital Network video live stream. This is a great opportunity for a broadcaster looking to get a few college reps under their belt, or a freelancer looking to add a few extra dates to their winter schedule.

Being able to do all three dates is not a requirement, but it is a major plus. It is also encouraged that you have experience setting up and breaking down equipment. Broadcasters based nearby Central Pennsylvania are preferable, but this is not a dealbreaker.

Pay is $100 per doubleheader.
