I have never used anything, but some people I know have used "Jump Cut". I think it worked for what they were doing. As for the graphic slide, you might have to create that in Word or something and then try to insert it into the program. Good Luck

I'm not aware of any freeware that will do what you need --- it may be out there, but I'm guessing that as with most other things in life, you get what you pay for.

I've used a program called PowerDirector, and it seems pretty solid. You can find it at www.cyberlink.com for $60. You can even download their trial version, which you can use for 30 days. (Unlike other trial software, it doesn't place a watermark on the entire video... just "PowerDirector trial version" for a few seconds at the beginning.) I liked the program so much I bought the full version.
