We all had jobs before we became rich and famous in sports broadcasting. What were some of yours?
Bonus points if you share a picture.
I'll bat leadoff . . .
1. Prep cook at a sandwich shop
2. Selling Valentine's Day bouquets on the side of the road
3. Working at the UCSD bookstore warehouse
4. Fitness trainer at a gym
5. McPherson, KS Park Department employee. (The riding mowers were fun to drive on city streets!)
Here is a pic from my fitness trainer days:

Corn Detassler (high school)
Burger King (college...lasted a week)
Sporting Goods Store (while in first full time radio gig...and needed more money!)
High School and Small College umpire, referee (football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball ---still do it)
Meat Department Counter Worker at a grocery store (last summer...no games to broadcast or officiate because of Covid, and I was bored --- while still working the morning show every day)
