Riggert told stjoechannel.com that leaving St. Joseph will be tough.
“When our family moved here we didn’t know anybody,” Riggert said. “We didn’t know a single soul. People reached out. Getting to know people at Missouri Western, falling in love with the Griffons getting to do their football games, and basketball and baseball — it’s been a blast. That’s one thing that I really had to wrestle with to leave that behind.”
