Myers takes over mid-mornings on 710 ESPN Seattle

justin-myers(March 3, 2015) Last Fall, Justin Myers was in his 10th year doing radio in Eugene, Oregon, but he aspired to do more. In August, he left for a host and producer position at 710 ESPN Seattle. Now, he has been promoted to mornings. Myers and Gee Scott are the 710 ESPN’s new 10 am to Noon hosts.

It is part of a major lineup change at the station. Also new is the addition of Tom Wassell to Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby’s show. The Bob, Groz and Tom” show will air weekday from Noon to 3.

Myer’s sports talk career began in 2004 at KSCR in Eugene. In subsequent years, he worked on KUGN 590 AM, 97.7 FM KNRQ and 95.3 The Score. Since joining 710, Myers has hosted “The Nightwatch” and produced “Bob and Groz.” He is a 2000 graduate of Western Oregon University.

“I’m thrilled to add Justin, Gee and Tom to our midday lineup,” says 710 ESPN Seattle Program Director Mike Salk. “These changes only strengthen 710 ESPN Seattle as the destination for Seattle sports radio.”

Nights on 710 will also sound different, with “The Barbershop,” featuring co-hosts Scott, former Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant and ex-Husky running back Terry “T-Holla” Hollimon, moving up to a 7-9 p.m. timeslot. ”
