Kevin Wheeler joins ESPN St. Louis

101ESPN in St. Louis is adding former MLB player Brad Thompson and sports/talk veteran broadcaster Kevin Wheeler to their daily show line-up.

Brad Thompson, a former major league baseball player, will be joining “The Fastlane” Afternoon Drive show beginning in January 2014. Over the past two years, Thompson has been a dedicated fill-in host for 101ESPN on all of their daily shows – most notably during Chris Duncan’s recent recovery from brain surgery – and he has served as a “go to” MLB insider for 101ESPN’s shows and hosts.

Kevin Wheeler is nationally-syndicated sports journalism professional with more than 17 years in radio broadcasting. He will be joining 101ESPN with “The Kevin Wheeler Show” beginning Monday, November 25, 2013.

Wheeler comes to 101ESPN most recently from NewsRadio 1120 KMOX, where he was the Host of the long-running “Sports Open Line” show as well as a Pre-Game/Post-Game Host for both the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. He joined KMOX in August of 2006 after spending the first 10 years of his professional radio career with Sporting News Radio Network (now known as Yahoo! Sports Radio).
