John PotterDixie State College Athletics and Cherry Creek Radio have reached an agreement for all home and away Red Storm football and men’s basketball games to be broadcast live on Sports Radio 1210 ESPN and simulcast on FM107.3MHz/102.3MHz The Fox.

DSC Athletic Director Jason Boothe said, “We are excited to have Dixie State sports back on Cherry Creek Radio where Red Storm sports will be heard by a larger audience. Being on Sports Radio 1210 ESPN and The Fox will allow the community to embrace the Red Storm and develop a passion for our games the way sports fans do for other teams throughout the state.”

The agreement provides for a weekly DSC Athletics Coaches Show and live online internet coverage on www.sportsradio1210.com and www.DixieAthletics.com of all the sports broadcasts.

“This is a monumental step in developing a passion for Red Storm sports with more community exposure and involvement through the games and the weekly Coaches Shows,” Boothe said.

John Potter (pictured) will continue as the “Voice of the Red Storm” as a member of the Sports Radio 1210 ESPN team as the lead play-by-play broadcaster. Devin Dixon, host of “The Drive on Sports Radio 1210 ESPN,” will join Potter for game color commentary. The first game broadcast will be Saturday, September 3 when the Dixie State football team hosts Adams State, with kickoff set for 6:05PM in Hansen Stadium.
