EXPERIENCE

  • Brand Manager at 740 The Fan sports radio station in Fargo, North Dakota. Produce the Jack Michaels Show, host of FCS Saturday and handle high school play-by-play. Started May 2016.
  • Sports Director at AM 1490 KOVC radio in Valley City, North Dakota, alongside the Voice of Valley City State University athletics from June 2015 to May 2016.
  • Production assistant for Midwest Radio of Fargo-Moorhead from October 2014 – April 2015.
  • Play-by-play for High School basketball and football on 740 the Fan. Fall 2012- Spring 2015.
  • Executive Producer of North Dakota State University football 2014 for the Petermann Seeds Radio Network.
  • Program Director of 101.9 Talk FM from January, 2013 to September, 2013. Working with on air talent, sales and administration on upcoming events. Scheduling board operators for local sporting events and street team. Also, worked with syndicated shows and network personnel.
  • Produced the Tom Becka Show - weekdays from 5:30-9:00 a.m. on 101.9 Talk FM. Included updating the web with local and national stories and recent podcasts and booking guests for upcoming shows. May, 2012 to December, 2012.
  • Produced Fargo Force hockey, Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks baseball, high school sports and North Dakota State University men’s and women’s basketball games for 740 The Fan and 790 KFGO.
  • I’ve worked with NexGen, WideOrbit, Adobe Audition, and Windows Media Player (movie edit).

EMPLOYMENT

Full-time Brander Manager at Midwest Radio of Fargo Moorhead.

Full-time Sports Director at Ingstad Family Media in Valley City.

Started as a part-time board operator with Radio Fargo Moorhead on 740 The Fan, doing weekend shifts in the fall of 2010.

Hired full-time by Radio Fargo Moorhead in May of 2012 to produce the Tom Becka Show on 101.9 Talk FM.

Coached basketball at Sullivan Middle School starting in 2009-2011. Moved to freshman basketball coach in 2012-2014.

Worked at the FM Redhawks from 2006 – 2013 in the concession stands, suites and beer gardens.

Bachelor of Science, emphasis in Mass Communications - Broadcast Journalism. Graduate from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), Moorhead, MN. May 2012.

Minor in Communication Studies and Coaching.
