When you’re uneasy about something, that’s often a sign you’re about to do something that’s good for you.
Here are a few ways you can choose courage over comfort in sportscasting.
Call a new sport
If you’ve never broadcast lacrosse and you’re given the opportunity, do it.
Move to a larger market
Moving can cause great discomfort, but it will help you grow personally and professionally.
Share yourself on social media
While it can make you nervous, this is an important part of advancing a sportscasting career today.
Instead of letting fear or anxiety keep you from doing hard things, embrace them. They’re going to move you forward.
The person who is willing to be the most uncomfortable rises fastest.
