Shoutout to KWBW-AM/Hutchinson KS Rusty Hilst for 50 years of covering Hutchinson HIgh School football and basketball.

I had the pleasure of working with Rusty at BW between 1989-98 and 1999-2007, along with working at other stations in the Ark Valley League with Hutch.
And I still get at least one conversation with Rusty each March when I return to Hutch as a volunteer PA announcer at the NJCAA D1 men's basketball tournament.
