Tribune Media Company in Kansas City, MO is accepting applications for a sports reporter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering sports news materials, interviewing persons both on and off camera, preparing and presenting news reports either live on-air or in a pre-recorded format or on various digital platforms.

Strong writing and on-air presentation skills are required. Must actively follow sports events on a local, national, and international level.

Must have a minimum of two years’ experience as a broadcast reporter in a mid-size market covering professional sports teams. Anchor experience is preferred.

The WDAF FOX4 sports team includes:

Anchor/Reporter Al Wallace (Texas Tech U.). Joined the station in 1985 -- 33 years ago!

Anchor/Reporter Jason Lamb (Kansas U.). Has been at the station 16 years.

Hats off to Harold Kuntz, the new sports anchor/reporter at FOX 4. He leaves a similar position at KOTV Channel 6 in Tulsa.
