Eagle Communications in Alliance, NE is accepting applications for a full-time News Director with play-by-play experience.

The responsibilities of this role include live sports broadcasts and assisting in the planning and execution of sports related promotions. This individual will also be responsible for News and information in the Panhandle of Nebraska, including writing stories for our free online news website in AP style, recording on-air news updates, attending community and city council meetings, and engaging with the communities we serve.

This person will also be responsible for some on-air shifts as needed, organizing and facilitating arrangements with our school partnerships, as well as being on call for severe weather events as a service to our communities.

Additionally, this role may include additional projects assigned by the Operations Manager.
