WMVN-FM, St. Louis’s newest sports station (101.1) is looking for an aggressive self starter to report up the minute sports news and information as a Sports Update Anchor.

Must have excellent writing, communication and radio production skills. Must have the ability to write like people talk; anchor short form sportscasts and contribute a daily blog to our website.

The ideal candidate will have been working in the business for at least 2 years and have great references. You live, breath, eat and sleep SPORTS! Must be a fast learner and self starter that is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Must be experienced at enterprising stories. Computer skills and experience with digital editing is a plus! Web skills are a must!

This is not a position for beginners. Must have excellent typing skills, be a grammatical genius, be extremely proficient in broadcast news writing; very organized, have excellent on-air delivery, able to work flexible shifts as determined by the programming department.

We are looking for someone that can do it all with very little direction!

Must be able to work within the policies and procedures set forth by Bonneville International Corporation. EOE.
