KNCY Radio in Nebraska City, NE is seeking a Sales Manager/Sports Director.

The sales side includes growing an existing account list and mentoring two veteran RAB trained salespeople.

The sports side involves joining two part-time play-by-play announcers and administering a year-round schedule of prep and college sports programming, which will include weekday sportscasts.

Additional on-air roles are possible but not mandatory. Benefits include health and dental insurance and 401K.

Good opportunity for someone who wants it. PD Doug Jennings is a great guy, and "The Real Geo" will keep you on your toes during broadcasts :)

I did some work with KNCY in two stints as Peru State (NE)'s football voice, and they're top notch. Good high schools in the area, family ownership and if the Bill Oliver listed is the one I know from my days in Kansas, he's another good radio guy.
