News 19 WHNT in Huntsville, AL is accepting applications for a Sports Anchor/Reporter.

WHNT has served the viewing area since 1963. It is the only TV station located in the heart of downtown Huntsville, which is bursting at the seams with amazing growth in the area. After Census 2020, Huntsville was placed as the largest city population wise in Alabama.

The cost of living is one of the lowest in the Southeast, with a backdrop of beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes in the Tennessee Valley. We focus on local sports—high schools, colleges and two local pro teams, the hockey Havoc and the baseball Rocket City Trash Pandas. The area has a great sports history.

Must be able to set up, shoot, write, edit, and produce your own stories across all platforms.
