The Brockton Rox Baseball Club is accepting applications for color analyst and sideline reporter interns.
Color Analyst:
The color analyst is responsible for working with the play-by-play announcer to provide the best experience for livestream viewers. The color analyst will report to the Broadcasting Supervisor and the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Compose notes with statistics and facts for every game assigned
* Give detailed descriptions of plays while on the air
* Assist with the setup of the audio production, including audio mixer and wiring
Requirements:
* At least one year’s experience as a color analyst and on-air talent.
* Proficient in baseball scorekeeping
* Proficient in communication and public speaking
* Basic exposure to Logic Pro X/Audacity/Pro Tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Teamwork skills and ability to work with others
* Energetic and creative
* Attend every home game of the 2023 season and select road trips.
Sideline Reporter:
The sideline reporter will be responsible for reports before, during, and after the broadcast. The sideline reporter will report to the Broadcasting Supervisor and General Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct three different reports during each home game
* Communicate with the technical producer regarding scheduled airtime.
* Record information/statistics regarding the players and game in-between each report
Requirements:
* At least 6 month’s experience working as an on-air talent.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Able to work independently
* Proficient in public speaking
* Basic knowledge of baseball scorekeeping
* Energetic and creative
* Attend every home game during the 2023 season
