The Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL) are accepting applications for a Communications Manager.

The position includes play-by-play for all 72 regular season games.

The Communications Manager will develop and maintain effective relationships with local TV, radio and print media to drive local focus toward team games, promotions, and community initiatives.

Congratulations to STAA Member Joey Battaino, the new broadcaster for the Orlando Solar Bears.

Joey move to Orlando after spending six seasons in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit. Prior to that he spent time with the NAHL's Odessa Jackalopes, the Michigan Warriors, and the IHL's Flint Generals.
