WTAP in Parkersburg, WV is accepting applications for a sports anchor/reporter.

Duties of this job include producing/anchoring our weekend sportscasts and reporting during the week.

Strong story-telling skills are a must!

Candidates will also co-anchor our Football Frenzy sportscast covering all high school football teams in the Mid-Ohio Valley region each Friday night in the fall.

The sports team with WTAP in Parkersburg, WV:

Jim Wharton (Marshall) joined WTAP in May of 1976 and became Sports Director in 1984.

Jesse Wharff is a sports reporter for WTAP.

Ryan Wilson is a multimedia journalist for WTAP.
