The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are seeking a Game Day Broadcasting Assistant.

Duties include:

* Assist Communications and Broadcasting Coordinator in all aspects of broadcast operation: including broadcast rundown, ensuring that radio spots are being played correctly, running online audio stream, working with other Fayetteville staff to make sure sponsorship assets are being executed, etc.
* Assist in creation and distribution daily game notes/packets for all 140 games.
* Author game recaps and other press pieces as assigned.
* Play-by-play for middle three innings of all 70 home games.

Education and/or Experience

* Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Audition is required, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
* Close proximity within the Carolinas is preferred.
* Prior experience in Minor League Baseball is not necessary.

Congratulations to STAA member Maura Sheridan. Maura will become the fifth woman broadcaster in minor league baseball this season, joining the Fayetteville Woodpeckers as their No. 2.
