The Bowling Green Hot Rods are looking for a candidate to fill the role of Broadcast & Media Relations Assistant.
Responsibilities:
* Compile and distribute game notes, rosters, and stat packs
* Help manage and produce content for the Hot Rods blog
* Write and post game recaps
* Assist with running the Hot Rods Radio Twitter account
* Broadcast three innings of play-by-play and six innings of color commentary for every home game
* Deliver box scores post-game
* Help host a weekly podcast with a player or coach
* Assist with tarp pulls or other game prep as needed
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Experience with Adobe InDesign & Microsoft Office Suite preferred but not required
• Minimum of Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in good academic standing
Schedule:
As an intern for the Hot Rods, you will be required to work both in the office and during home games. The Hot Rods play 70 home games beginning April 6, 2019 and concluding on September 3, 2019. This internship has a start date of March 18, 2019. The end date is flexible, based on needs, availability, and any potential Hot Rods Playoff games.
Compensation:
This internship is unpaid and must be applied for college credit hours.
