The Mid-Plains League - Kansas/Missouri's premier collegiate summer league - is now searching for sports broadcasters ahead of the 2022 season! We broadcast our games over the internet, including pre and post-game interviews.
Broadcasters will have the opportunity to create post-game stories and interviews on the league website in addition to regular play-by-play duties.
This is a paid, part-time internship.
If you one day hope to sit behind a major league microphone, think about a summer covering a team in the Mid-Plains League. We are accepting internship applicants for the 2022 MPL season. If interested, please send us a resume and demo (baseball/softball is great, multi-sport reel is even better).
In some instances, broadcasters will have access to the team bus, but we prefer that applicants have reliable transportation to each MPL venue (Topeka, Kansas City, Belton, Sabetha, Junction City, Baldwin City).
