Washington Wild Things No. 2

The Washington Wild Things, an independent professional baseball team in the Frontier League, a partner league of Major League Baseball, are seeking a broadcasting intern(s) for the 2021 season.

The season runs from late May through mid-September.

The broadcast internship is offered for school credit and successful applicants would start near the season’s start. The intern(s) in this position will be on air with the lead broadcaster for all Wild Things’ home games.

The intern(s) will handle three innings of play-by-play at minimum in every broadcast and serve as the color announcer for the rest of the game. Intern(s) will also be featured heavily on pre and post-game shows. The person(s) will also have other duties as assigned.
