An AHL team tells STAA they will eventually be posting an official position description for a Director of Broadcasting who will broadcast play-by-play for all the team's games. In the meantime, the team says STAA members can apply directly to him.

On June 18th, STAA members were notified of the Tucson Roadrunners opening for a Director of Communications/Broadcasting.
STAA members who have already applied directly to the hiring manager do not need to re-apply.
Job Summary:
The Director, Communications & Broadcasting serves as an integral member of the Roadrunners senior management team and is responsible for the development of the Roadrunners communications strategy while serving as the team’s play-by-play broadcaster.
The Director, Communications & Broadcasting will develop a communications plan for the Roadrunners that will promote all aspects of the organization and will enhance and protect the organization’s brand reputation. The Director, Communications & Broadcasting will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership.
This individual will serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization and will serve as an ambassador who will establish strong working relationships with the media, players, coaches, management and ownership. The goal of this position is to maximize media coverage for the organization and to increase awareness and support for the team.
The Director, Communications & Broadcasting will be responsible for managing the following departments: media relations; broadcasting; community relations, charitable foundation and website content. This position will also manage the organization’s varied and integrated communications tools and services including: press releases, media guide, yearbook, training camp guide and other print publications.

Indeed. Easy mistake.
There were several old teams called the Phoenix Roadrunners but, alas, those are no more and the moniker has since mived south.
