KBTX-TV in Bryan-College Station, TX is accepting applications for a sports anchor/reporter.

You’ll produce and anchor sportscasts that go beyond predictable highlights and profiles, sharing stories of success and empowerment that resonate across the Brazos Valley. With sports features, you’ll regularly showcase the community’s heartwarming, inspiring, outrageous and unusual stories. An ideal candidate will be comfortable independently enterprising content and use their storytelling skills to offer meaningful context to sports news. You’ll also take an active role in our EMMY-winning live Aggie football pregame show, Aggie Gameday, and our high school football productions, including award-winning Friday Football Fever.

The KBTX sports team includes:

Diretor Darryl Bruffett (Sam Houston State University). Has been at the station since 1987. Sports Director since 1990.

Anchor/Reporter Tyler Shaw (BYU). Joined the station in June.

Reporter John Wilson (Sam Houston State University).
