KVII-TV in Amarillo has an opening for a weekend sports anchor/reporter.

Along with covering West Texas A&M, we cover all high school sports in the Texas Panhandle and are looking for someone passionate about local sports.

The ideal candidate should be able to shoot and edit. We are looking for a strong writer, someone with sharp wit and the ability to work well with others. Should have experience operating digital cameras and nonlinear editors.

Please indicate in your cover letter you learned of this opportunity through Sportscasters Talent Agency of America.

Many online applications don't include a way to upload your demo. For a clever workaround, STAA members should visit the STAA Members site. In the Improve My Job Market Approach column, click Presentation.
