KBJR 6 in Duluth, MN is accepting applications for a Sports Anchor/MMJ.

The successful candidate will have experience with anchoring, producing, photojournalism and various social media platforms.

If you want to learn the multi-platform reporting business quickly – this is the perfect place to do it. In this position, you’ll also be reporting for news several days a week.

Duluth is located on the shore of Lake Superior and is rich with everything from outdoor adventures to arts and entertainment year-round.

The KBJR sports team includes:

Anchor/Reporter Matt Halverson (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire). Joined KBJR 6 in April of 2018 as the weekend sports anchor/reporter.

Anchor/MMJ Gamiel Hall (University of St. Thomas). Joined the station June 2018.

Sports Director David Coy left in May for WDAY in Fargo, ND.
