5NEWS in Fort Smith, AR has an opening for a sports MMJ.

The photographer/reporter must be a journalist who can find local stories, shoot video, edit, produce as well as both report and be comfortable in stressful environments.

The goal is to tell stories about area athletes, teams, coaches and/or events. Find outstanding people and tell exceptional stories about them and their sport. We focus on storytelling, not just scores and highlights.

This person will have additional responsibilities in our weekly high school show ‘Football Friday Night’, any and all coverage of the Razorbacks as well as potential specials such as pregame or postgame shows.

Going beyond the newscasts, this person must contribute to both social media and the 5NEWS website as that aspect is even more important in today’s instant news era.

Please indicate in your cover letter you learned of this opportunity through Sportscasters Talent Agency of America.
