WRIC-TV, The ABC affiliate in Richmond, Virginia has an opening for a Sports Anchor/Reporter.

Duties Include: Anchoring, Reporting and Producing sports stories for newscasts, special programs and website. You will need to be able to plan coverage of local sporting events and also be responsible for shooting, writing and editing these sports stories.

We would prefer you have at least 3 years-experience with live sports reporting.

Tech Skills:

Must be able to operate Computers, Phones, Faxes, Scanners, Mobile IPhones , Police Scanners, Live TV Units & Wi-Fi Equipment, Video Cameras, Microphones, Light and a Tripod.


AP ENPS Newsroom Software, Edius Non-Linear Editing, Word Press, Social Media, Email, HTML Web Skills and other related software

WRIC has moved Kirk Nawrotzky (Old Dominion) from reporter to sports anchor/reporter. He's been at the station for one year.

Natalie Kalibat is the sports director.
