KITV Island News, the ABC affiliate in Honolulu, has an opening for a weekend sports anchor.

This is not a grab-it-from-the-feed kind of job. We need to break stories, become part of the culture, and tell great sports stories through visuals and sound. Expect to shoot much of your own video and be available for all big sports events. You will anchor weekend sportscasts and report during the week.

Knowledge of ENPS and Adobe Premier is a plus. Our anchors produce their own sportscasts and will often shoot and edit their own pieces. Web and social media know-how is also key.

Minimum 4-year college degree preferred.
