ABC36 WTVQ in Lexington, KY is looking for a Sports Director with a real love of local sports, everything from UK basketball to Little League Baseball.

If you are a strong leader with great organizational skills this is the job for you. If you know how to tell a story, shoot it, edit it, and make it matter to non-sports fans - you're just what we're looking for.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in commercial television sports departments, have extraordinary on air presence and be proficient at shooting and editing his/her own material. We need an aggressive self-starter who is passionate about covering sports in one of the most competitive environments in the country. If you can tell wonderful stories, meet deadlines and thrive in high pressure environments, we want to hear from you.

It's a great sports job in a first class sports city. College degree and at least two years on-air professional broadcast television experience are required.

The ABC 36 sports staff includes Anchor/Reporter Austin Miller (Indiana).

Anchor/Reporter Bryan Kennedy recently left for a job in St. Louis.
